From a small village near Bijolia, Rajasthan to a diversified enterprise spanning five industries — this is the story of two brothers, three generations, and one unshakeable family.
From two brothers to three generations
Some journeys begin with opportunity — ours began with faith, family, and relentless hard work.
Mohan Lal & Sons was born from the vision and perseverance of two brothers, Bhura Lal Ji and his younger brother Mohan Lal Ji, who came from a humble farming background. With limited means but immense determination, they chose to shape their own destiny. Under the constant guidance, blessings, and wisdom of the elder brother Bhura Lal Ji, the foundation of the enterprise was built not only on business ambition but on deep-rooted family values — integrity, resilience, and unity.
In 1976, the brothers stepped into the mining industry, establishing their first stone mines through sheer dedication and courage. What started as a modest venture gradually transformed into a strong and self-reliant organization. Between 2000 and 2015, Mohan Lal & Sons evolved into a robust in-house execution model — embracing strategic acquisitions, ownership expansion, and self-managed operations that minimized external dependencies and strengthened operational excellence.
Guided by the same spirit of growth and service, the family enterprise diversified further. From 2016 onwards, the group expanded into hospitality and community-oriented ventures, including student accommodations in Kota and food service operations — creating spaces that reflect care, comfort, and trust.
Continuing its journey of expansion, Mohan Lal & Sons also entered the automotive and fuel services sector, operating an Ashok Leyland workshop alongside two fuel stations. These ventures stand as a reflection of the company's commitment to reliability, service quality, and long-term relationships with people and communities.
Despite evolving across industries — from mines to mobility, and from stone to hospitality — the heart of Mohan Lal & Sons remains unchanged. It is a legacy nurtured by brotherhood, strengthened by family guidance, and driven by the belief that honest work and collective effort can transform even the simplest beginnings into enduring success.
Today, Mohan Lal & Sons carries forward not just a business, but a heritage — a journey shaped by the blessings of elders, the strength of family bonds, and a vision that continues to grow with every generation.

Founder · Mohan Lal & Sons
A farmer, a visionary, and the quiet force behind it all. He built his family's future through patience, land, and an unshakeable belief in honest hard work. He did not build a company. He planted a tree — one that three generations have grown under.
Everything that stands today stands on the values he lived.
Elder Brother · Founding Force · Dhakar Group
The eldest of the Dhakar family — the one who took the first step so others could follow. He entered stone mining not knowing what it would become. Only knowing it had to be done. His guidance became the moral compass of everything that followed.
Not every founder signs a document. Some simply show the way.

The Financial Mind of the Next Generation
Pursuing Chartered Accountancy · CA (in progress)
Every great enterprise runs on two things: vision and numbers. He's building the discipline to hold both.
