At Mohan Lal & Sons, sandstone is not just our business — it is our beginning. Since 1976, our family has been quarrying premium sandstone from the heart of Bijolian, Bhilwara District, Rajasthan. What started as a single quarry has grown into one of Rajasthan's most trusted stone operations, supplying architects, builders, landscapers and exporters across India and 20+ countries worldwide.

We offer 19 carefully selected varieties of Indian sandstone — from our own Bijolian quarries and from other premium regions of Rajasthan. Each stone is different in colour, character and use. Whether you need frost-resistant paving for a European project or intricately carved jali work for a heritage restoration, we have the right stone for you.

Sealing

All sandstones benefit from sealing before installation and periodic resealing thereafter. Softer, more porous varieties (Mint White, Mint Yellow, Mint Fossil, Dholpur Beige) require sealing as a necessity for outdoor and wet area use. Harder, denser varieties (Kandla Grey, Sagar Black, Modak, Jodhpur Pink) are more forgiving but still benefit from sealing.

Packaging

All MLS sandstone is packed in strong wooden crates as per international export specifications. Custom packaging available for fragile carved items.

Minimum Order

Full container / truckload. Mixed stone types and finishes permitted in a single container. Contact our exports team for domestic orders.
